The art of beauty lies from within. We all have the ability to look and feel great. The outer image is largely the result of how well we care for our bodies from the inside. This means we need to engage in regular exercise and maintain a good diet.

Try to eat a variety of fruits, vegetables, wholegrain cereals and low-fat dairy products. A well-balanced, nutritious diet not only promotes good health but also helps you look good. Your skin, hair, eyes and nails will benefit from eating wisely and drinking ample amounts of water.

Your foundation will look only as good as the skin underneath. To get an even, smooth look, cleanse and exfoliate regularly. Remember, clear healthy skin is the perfect canvas for makeup.

Take care of the skin around your neck as well as your face by applying moisturizer. This is a delicate area which is quick to show wrinkles.

If you have sensitive skin and are prone to allergic reactions make sure you test new cosmetics on a small patch either on the inside of your arm or your neck. If after 24 hours you don't have a reaction it is considered safe to use the product.

No matter how tempting it might be to drop into bed after being out late, don't do it. Your skin will thank you if you remove all traces of makeup and apply your skin care cream before going to bed.

Get plenty of sleep, do not smoke, only drink moderate amounts of alcohol and try to control the stress in your life.

Not only will you look good, you will feel a million dollars.
