Beauty Tips - Skin Care

What we put into our bodies and how we treat our skin has a huge impact on how we look - no skin care product can overcome certain damage. Here are a few hints to take the best care of your skin and get that radiant glow.

Eating a balanced and healthy diet will give your skin proper nutrition. Include plenty of fruit, leafy vegetables and fish.
.
Fatty Acids provide the building blocks of healthy skin. These are found in oils such as walnut and flaxseed. Oily fish such as salmon, tuna and mackerel are also rich in essential fatty acids.

Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day to keep your skin hydrated. Water carries nutrients to every cell in your body, flushes out toxins and improves circulation and blood flow

Maintain a regular exercise schedule. Exercise gets the blood moving and creates a healthy body.

Get at least 7 to 8 hours sleep every night. A lack of sleep will show up under your eyes as dark circles or bags.

Get lots of fresh air but avoid prolonged exposure to wind and cold.

Avoid the sun and tanning beds. The damage done by ultraviolet rays is long lasting and cannot be reversed.

Always wear sunglasses to avoid lines from squinting and of course to protect eyes from sun damage.

Try to achieve a well-balanced life and reduce stress.

Develop a skin care routine for your particular skin type.

A good thorough cleansing is absolutely necessary for healthy skin. To clean the skin, it is best to select a gentle hypoallergenic, pH-balanced cream, lotion or soap, designed to help dissolve surface dirt and any makeup.

To remove the buildup of normal dead cells, it is beneficial to regularly exfoliate the skin at least twice a week, with a gentle scrub.

If you have been neglecting your complexion start right away to improve it - it is never too late. What you do today will show up in your skin in the future.

It's up to you.
