Here are a few beauty tips to help you look and feel years younger.
Moisturize your Skin
As we get older, skin loses some of its elasticity and natural moisture. You can help replenish this by regularly using a good moisturizer. You cannot actually put water in your skin but you can trap water next to the skin.
After every wash, moisturize with a good cream or if you have dry skin use baby oil on your face. Apply gently around the eyes, forehead, mouth and neck.
Eat a Healthy, Well-balanced Diet
Eat plenty of fruit, fish and vegetables and drink at least 8 glasses of water.
Take Exercise.
Exercise gets the blood flowing and builds up muscles. If you do not have much time to spare to visit a gym, a brisk forty minute walk every day is just as beneficial. Cycling and swimming are excellent for keeping you healthy, fit and young.
Get a Good Night's Sleep.
Try to be in bed before midnight and sleep for 7 or 8 hours.and you should feel full of energy the next morning.
Do Not Smoke
Smoking ages the skin by constricting the capillaries in your face. Smokers tend to have less energy and are more prone to illness.
Cut Down on Alcohol.
Heavy or binge drinking is extremely aging. It relaxes the muscles in your face and over a relatively short period of time, your face begins to sag permanently.
Be Wise in the Sun.
Over exposure to the sun or sun machines will cause irrepairable damage to your skin. Apart from the dangers of cancer, it will leave you with deep wrinkles and leathery skin.
If you want a nice healthy looking tan, use a spray tan or lotion.
Eliminate Stress
Stress and worry make you lose sleep and that in turn leads to tiredness and depression. Learn to relax and meditate by taking up yoga.
